Many thanks.Īre you using an Office Build that includes the numbers 7369. I was able to do this previously without issue so I'm clearly doing something different, or leaving out a step. I hope I have explained my situation more clearly here The body of the email was to be the 'Letter'
#MAIL MERGE TOOLKIT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PDF#
However, on clicking, the emails are sent to ALL email addresses in the Db instead of just the one I selectedĪlso, both the email message, ie the Letter AND the pdf document were both received as attachments, with the body of the email totally blank. When I have selected ID as a field, created a folder as required, then the 'Continue' button is activated. There is no field in the Db regarding the attachment

In the resulting box, I browse for attachment, select Merge with Email as pdf attachment, select field for Email Address and enter the subject heading Then save letter (both as Save, and Save As – seems to make no difference)Ĭlick on Merge Tools, then Merge with Attachment Open letter in Word, identify it's 'Letter' re Mail Merge, locate the Db source, identify recipients, put in the required fields. The required pdf document is located in the same folder as the Db, although I assume this doesn't need to be the case. This is a standard form, not requiring any personalisation – the same form going to each recipient.

It is to this email message that I want to attach a pdf document which is the Renewal Form. I have a letter, Renewal Reminder, to which I add the recipient/s and fields required, the source being an Access Db, and want this letter to be the body of the email message. I don't think I explained my requirements very clearly for you.
